Hmm, as much as it was a harsh penalty, I can't see the FIA overturning that.

Worth an appeal though - looked well dodgy I thought.

maybe they could have just moved back on the grid next weekend but to have a win taken away is harsh, espically as Raikkonen then crashed out (which did make me laugh)!

Ridiculous decision - it's just going to dissuade drivers from trying to overtake in a sport that's normally a dull procession at the best of times.

Oh, absolutely, but I don't think they're likely to overturn the officials' decision. Unfortunately, they may even decide to impose a yet harsher penalty as a result of the appeal.

I agree to an extent, but Hamilton has repeatedly defied the concept that you can't overtake in Formula One and though I may be biased, I think it is a hell of a lot more exciting since last season when he got the drive. Like you say, it's going to dissuade drivers from trying it, which is stupid.

He clearly realised he had gained an unfair advantage and let Raikkonen back in front, as he should have done. The officials found a problem that wasn't there (or at least had already been resolved on the track.)

I have often had that same thought regarding cling film.

cling film is complicated stuff. A plastic bag does the trick.

The guy who used to live at my new place is annoying me today. He didn't seem to know the concept of paying his bills... which means that when I want to the register myself with say Sky or BT or EDF I have to fax over my tenancy aggreement and/or pay an upfront bill to prove I'm a new tenant and that I'm a good person. Bastard.

But apart from that though - everything is going swimmingly.

Depends what trick you are trying to do. A plastic bag is considerably more difficult - and sometimes impossible - to create an airtight wrapping with.

Woke up. Started to play Spore for a couple of hours until lunch. After ten minutes I look at my watch and it's 4pm. Considering I got up at 8 that's really bad.

Maybe the fan is faulty? That's not too hard to replace.

Spore is great! Although I can't think for the life of me where the week has gone!

It's so addictive. They could have done a few more things with it but I guess that's for the expansion packs.

A nice lie down in a darkened room will see off the effects of the irking. Then you need someone to come and gruntle you. Much better to be gruntled than disgruntled.

I thought your web thingy told you how far you'd run and a watch will tell you how long it took after that it's basic maths isn't it?
