They didn't actually cancel it did they? I though Friday and Saturday was as normal then on Sunday they didn't let anyone new in but kept the festival on?

No, Friday and Saturday went ahead, Sunday was cancelled. So still plenty of material for Pete Tong to play I assume. Thank God we weren't ticketing this year, stuff like that is a ticketing nightmare. The one year we did it we had a lot of fraud problems.

So about six or seven years ago I wrote a petition website for a friend of mine whose son got bottled working as a doorman at a nightclub (it's is the website in my profile - POP-Campaign for those who haven't seen it... careful, it's got graphic images, but if you agree with it, please do sign [/plug]). Anyway, at the bottom of the website is my name and email address... someone signed it yesterday, took one look at my name and assumed I was probably Chris Welch the famous rock journalist who used to write for Melody Maker.

Ha! I never sleep with windows open cos of my allergies. Dan does, but he's impervious to the cold. When he went on holiday to Rekjavik, I had to persuade him to take a jacket. He didn't own one at the time.

Someone in the '10 most influential people' thread in General who thinks I "effectively run this site"...very sweet, but I really, really don't! I guess I'm just more of a 'face' than Chris H cos I post more and upload clips, but the idea that I'm running the site is very funny.
