The more this "book" is mocked and satirised, the better.

Essentially, someone reading excerpts from 50 shades of grey in a stupid voice. Amused me though.

Oh. I'm beyond caring about that now. If people wanna read it, let 'em read it.

Oh I just had an argument with someone here - "You're reading porn" I said...Didn't go down too well so I've been grumpy all morning.

Oh. Why didn't it go down well? Do they want to pretend they don't like porn? And why?

Some american woman who works here, didn't take my poking in the best way. But then maybe I came across as a bit antagonistic, you know what I can be like!

I've seen both a facebook meme and a tweet - posted by different people - to the effect that "well women don't like porn and they have a go at men for watching porn, but they read 50 Shades!" I HATE that sweeping generalisation thing.

A majority of women don't openly admit to watching porn & deride men for viewing, talking about or enjoying it, however colloquial sexualisation of men in mass media, and reading erotic literature in public seems to be fine to them as it's a central piece of material which is acknowledged to be widely popular.

Better? :P

I like porn, but I like it better written than the excerpts I have seen from 50 Shades. I like Anais Nin for example. Or is she more "erotic literature" than porn?

Yeah, I do like it. And yes Yuds, I'd say stuff like Anais Nin is more 'erotic fiction' than porn. I suppose when I say porn I'm referring more to videos and pics than books.

Don't know why but that comment really creeped me out.

Made me shudder and everything.

Must be coming down with something...

That similar creeped out feeling and shudder when you think about your parents doing it. Or maybe that is a teen thing.

Films. Mainly Judge Dredd actually looking like it's going to be quite good....

And also this rather odd version of Assassin's Creed

It can't possibly be as good as the Cookie Monster Share It Maybe video. That's the best thing I've ever seen on the internet.

Had a nice day in Liverpool. It wasn't what I thought it would be, it's actually really nice round the dock and the city centre. Having a pint in the Cavern Club was the highlight.
