I know this is an often done topic but I was trying to think of my singles of the year and really struggling... my list so far would be:

1. The Coral - In the Morning
2. Doves - Black and White Town
3. The Killers - Somewhere Else
4. Audio Bullys - Shot You Down (purely because i dont like dance music generally but love that).
5. Damien Rice - Volcano


Probably some great songs I have missed like but Oasis and Coldplay's singles wouldn't be on my list so far.
