Lets face it folks....

When driving into work, it's Moyles all the way...

However, when driving home the Scot Mills show is just "CRAP"

It's one of those shows that you want to like (a bit like Mark & Lard) but at the end of the day it just doesn’t work.

And before some of you jump down my throat.

I know there’s the odd funny like “you have been rumbled scenario i.e. mum and dad video"... But over a course of a week, a month, then 1 laugh hardly constitutes a decent radio show.

As for your call, then is just pants.... boring, disjointed drivel. Hospital radio here he comes.

BBC bosses must be secretly cringing, thinking how long do we give him before we pull the plug. Everyone’s either now playing a CD or re-tuning into some other radio station.

Oh and while I’m on one. Why does he feel like he has to drag everything out for so long when nobody really gives a toss i.e. Brown Noise!!! Impersonator!!! Chappers left etc… Dull. Dull. Dull.

Nice guy but crap format/features. GET HIM OFF or moved to a 2am slot more suited for cabbies or truckers.

And that's why the BBC pulled them from the breakfast show, gave them an afternoon slot, to which they were then dropped altogether from day time radio. Genius.

They were and still are "great writers" but alas pretty poor at presenting.

To be honest with you their comedy wasn't the best to be waking up to at what i think then was 6:30 in the morning. That's why they were moved to the afternoon. People were so bloody tired they couldn't make sense of it.

Let me put it this way, he is very good, not as good as Moyles but still very good, much better than Colin and Edith. If they were on drive i would listen to another station. So i'm suprised you like them better.

Eh? They've never really made me laugh. They're okay to listen to, but they've never done anything that I would say to a mate 'listen to this'. Don't get me wrong, they're okay, but I think you'll find Mills deserves to be highly rated.

Okay, not all of his ideas are original, but clearly not everyone had heard of them before. Stuff like the takeaway game and celebrity call were things that I would often hear people talking about. I know many people with the flirt divert number in their phones.

Brown Noise has clearly already got you talking.

I've never heard someone talk about a Colin & Edith feature. The only real alternative for most people is Steve Wright and local radio.

Yeah it is clearly designed to provoke a reaction but that's not necessarily a bad thing.

Mills is ok. He is good at what he does, a solid and entertaining music DJ. God knows he has earned his right to a good shift after all these years too.

I think Scott has shown real improvement in the past year. Features such as Flirt Divert have provided some good comedy moments.

I find that he manages to pull of such ideas to better effect than Colin and Edith ever could.

Most of the flirt divert gags/goofs are so set up. Students with mobiles can be very dull indeed.

I'm sure there’s the odd "real" gem in there, but hey! It comes back to my original point that 1 laugh a month doesn’t constitute a decent radio show.

Chapers is someone for Scott to bounce off (gud mornin') when he is on air.

I agree Your Call is rubbish, and if they dont get rid of it they should at least put it 6-7 when listeners drop.

I start my day listening to Nemone, then most of Chris' show and come home to Colin and Edith, sometimes I get to listen to Scott Mills, and I prefer to listen to Scott Mills' show (after Chris' that is....of course!)

I agree about your call though, it's rubbish. I reckon it's only part of the show because management said it had to be. Chris's parody version 'our call' was genius.

even I, former despiser of the Mills have to disagree with you Flame, sure he's no Moyles just yet, but someone said Mills has a 'good solid show' and I agree. Sure he's done a few things I disagreed with, but now I only have 1 gripe, which is in the past. Chappers in my opinions adds to the show, as does Laura, I think it wouldn't be quite so good without them.

Also Mark and Lard were gods of surreal comedy, every bit as good as Spike Milligan and the Goons in their day. Those that didn't find it funny just don't get surreal comedy, simple as.

Colin and Edith are average in a good way to listen to, better than local tinpot drivel and your posts.
