Moyles ain't gonna be happy... specially cos Vaughan got nominated. I would have thought that this (of all the years) would've been his year.

I think the opposite. Whereas in previous years I think he has been wrongly overlooked, I think the show doesn't deserve a nomination this time. I stopped listening for four months, had a listen to a week and haven't listened since. It's just not going anywhere and seems stale and unimaginative.

Having said that though, I think there are several shows that should have been nominated and haven't been, and several that are on the list and shouldn't be.

I actually agree with you to a degree there Splodge - you misunderstood my post. I meant that with him being a big hit and ratings winner on the breakfast show, I would've thought that this of all the years (cos they don't seem to like him anyway) might have been his best chance. The standard of shows certainly hasn't been up to previous years without any question.

I get the feeling that Rachel isn't as adventurous a producer as Will was (if that makes any sense) in generating new ideas, features etc for the show. Unlike you I still enjoy listening, but can't help feeling it could be so much better.
