Can anyone give me any advice as to how to convert a local radio listener to radio1 and more specifically Moyles. I keep trying to tell him but he's not listening to me atm and its getting on my nerves! Thanks :)

Bribe him with cornflake cakes. Or just send me cornflake cakes. Either way I am happy.

OR.. building on Gaspode's suggestion, send the local Cornflake Cakes, but tell him they're laced with ricin (or some other toxic substance) and that you will give them the antidote of they listen...

or is that maybe a leeeetle bit too hardcore?
(i've been watching Saw Trilogy lately, so my ideas are based around stuff that would be in that)

If hes PC literate or even has a CD player in his car, play him some clips from the sound vault, you CANNOT go wrong. I've made CDs for the car, and its becoming a proper little hobby now, its great.

I don't understand how anyone could listen to local radio.

Commercial radio is a radio station that has adverts. There are local and national versions.

Surely you can work out the definition of the word 'local'...

Commercial means commercial, local means local. There's no comparison.

I've got him to agree to listen to Moyles all next week to see if he can be converted. I hope Moyles is on form then!

Cornflake cakes seem to have faded into obscurity behind the popularity of Rice Krispie cakes. I prefer cornflake cakes, but not the chocolatey ones, the syrupy toffee-ish ones.
