Both Moyles and the BBC TV coverage are using it, it sounds like a modern version of the "sing out, for the eng-er-land" terrace song - quite catchy.

Anyone know which world cup song it is?

Nope, sounds similar, but the version of WIM I have doesn't have the distinctive "sing out for the eng-er-land" bit :S

i think the song is called Won't get fooled again and it is by The Who.

Nah but the BBC have been using We wont get fooled again on one of their adverts for BBC Sport.

The only songs that Moyles regularly plays are "Mas Que Nada", "World At Your Feet", "Vindaloo", "World In Motion" and his own song. Others could be the Tony Christie or Stan Boardman songs but I don't think they feature chanting

Every time that advert comes on, I keep thinking CSI Miami's on... Why oh why choose that song, it's got SH4G all to do with football?!?

"who are you" is csi though, innit?

"won't get fooled again" is good for the apathetic during elections.

Yeah, "who are you" is CSI, but "Won't get fooled again" is CSI -Miami. Dunno about New York 'cos Gary Sinise freaks me the hell out, so I don't watch it ;)

I've never watched any CSI but Gary Sinise is a very good actor.
