I don't suspect that Chris takes any suggestions from this site but I was thinking lately that as he's in Germany he maybe should try some classic German bands like Tic Tac Toe or Anton aus Tyroll. I reckogn he'd have loads of laugh cause for me German language sounds hilarious. Do you guys know any crazy German bands or tracks? Put the names and titles on in here and maybe we'll have some good collection

Id like to put Tic Tac Toe Verpiss Dich and Hey Mister Wichtig also Nina Hagen – Seeman

I was thinking about sth more ridiculus than Ramstein. Fair enouth it's peaty good band but try tic tac toe or nina hagen and you'll know what i meen.

There's a cool band called the Guano Apes that I've been listening to for like 5 years. They've got about 4 or 5 albums out but they split up last year. They're just a normal rock band, not that heavy and quite acceptable for a radio show to play. Check them out on YouTube or something.

if you want classic german music, forget peter maffay, nena, or kraftwerk. it's all about heino. man, how i love heino.

actually, some pretty good stuff right now includes: wir sind helden, tocotronic, die sterne, die ärzte, sido, bushido, rosentstolz, and julli just to name a few.

If it's a classic German track you want then look no further than the all-time classic, 'Sie Leibt Dich'.
This translates as 'She Loves Dick' and was penned by Paul McCartney for his (ex) wife Heather.
You can often hear it being sung in the German terraces during the half-time interval.

Rammstein, definitely. "Du Hast" is the best German song ever. Probably the only song broadcastable at 8am is "Neun-und-neunzig luftballon" (99 red balloons).
On a bizarre note, you've got Kraftwerk (We are Ze Robots).. always good for a laugh.. Especially when they do the cheesy German Vocoder stuff with really bad accents. Sure to get a few laughs from the team.
