And Embrace are on tomorrow , so we get to listen to the lead singer struggle to hit any of the right notes .

Exactly! Yes, they go on a bit about football, but they never dive into 20-minute Grandstand-like discussions about tactics.. Usually it just ends up with who has the sillier Accent, Jose Marinho or Thierry Henry, or something schoolboy like that.. All good stuff

Personally I am loving it. I love that they are all living in that chalet like the Waltons or something. I love that we get to hear Chopper in the mornings too and I would be most disappointed if they were there for the world cup and didn't talk about football at all.

WOW!!, Danny McNamara really can't sing!. He struggled through all the songs this morning, i don't think he hit any of the right notes.

I skipped through most of today's show it was that bad, there just doesn't seem to be anything to it, i don't think i've laughed once at the show since they went to Germany, and it was even worse this morning, i don't know about anyone else, but Danny McNamara's voice really irritates me.

Well, that's today's rant over, i'm sure i'll be back tomorrow for more of the same .

I'm not a fan of Embrace, mainly because I think the lead singer's voice is horrid, so I wasn't a fan of that part of today's show. I loved the quiz as usual, and the songs today could have been better, I'm sick of the recent trend of lame dance songs, apart from the Faster Kill Pussycat one. I like how Aled has now dropped the seriousness and truth from the World Cup team explanations. Overall it's been a good start to the week

I'm sure i'm in the minority on this but I just don't find the german ads funny at all. They're actually starting to get on my nerves a bit which is a shame cos I like everything else he does.

Viaduct is dead. It was funny six years ago but not anymore. They tried to bring it back in 2003 and it died on its arse. I'm being hugely stereotypical here but the vast majority of Chris's audience seem to be thick as f*ck so would struggle to understand the rules.

Too true, but it was still my favourite feature, better than carpark catchphrase.

AS for the German ads, still don't find them funny or understand why they even made them in the first place. I do think that the shows from Germany aren't as good as usual but it's sort of understandable. They're all living out of each others pockets so they all know what each others done. They can't watch our tv, they can't spot any famous celebs in their little chalet village so no guess who. It seems like they're running out of ideas hence the German ads.

Ah well different strokes for different folks i guess.

Helmut Herr is quite funny, but Aled's guides to world cup nations isn't as funny as his normal guest intros. Just feel that these shows aren't up to the normal standard.

Haha - ace post! The show has moved forward now and i'm guessing it appeals to a wider audience, some of whom would not have a general understanding of the feature.

To appericate it, you would have had to have listened in the early years.
