Beleive it or not, world cup songs are supposed to be fun and basic...not Ivor Novello contenders.

Yeah...once again. That whole holocaust business probably would have stopped within a couple of days if Chris was there. As he's obviously the only person who would speak out against such contentious issues like mass slaughter.


It probably has more to do with that one of his main radio rivals, Christian O Connell has spearheaded the release of the sham 69 world cup song. Noticibly, he has a week long feature dedicated to playing other world cup songs (apart from the one mentioned) giving them promotion and possibly trying to 'kill' sales for sham 69.

An element of jelousy is present I feel, perhaps more time spent on doing features like what virgin did as opposed to 'how many times we can re-package carpark catchphrase' would have avoided this tit for tat affair.

I see your point Stevotrash. I wasn't aware of O'Donnel, cos I don't listen to Virgin. A it of rivaly sounds about right. But without that crucial piece of knowledge, from here, it looks like every fool with a synthesiser who can put together some lyrics and dredge up the MIDI file for some old song can release a Footy song, and nobody's saying "uh, hang on, these are all sh*t, stop it", except our man Moyles.

I always have problems with these dodgy upload sites (although, by some miracle, this actually downloaded first time), and it just involves trying it numerous time until it works. Sometimes, though, you may need to use a proxy as they have ip address based download limitations, and it usually records your local isp proxy rather than your actual ip address.

To download that file it says I need a premium account to download. I don't mind paying for the song itself but I don't want to give my credit card details to a iffy download site. Are there any other sources for this song?
