I have been thinking - since they started the original podcast - i wondered whether it would be good having a video podcast!?

Full video footage of the interviews jokes pranks etc - was wondering whether it would be really fun or really dull.

Might ruin the comedy as it is radio comedy... but sometimes i just think it would be cool seeing what they are doing...

Any views?

Dave and Chris are comedy geniusses.. but most of their humour works like a pub conversation... more imaginary and chat than visual...

I'd definitely watch it, but I'm not sure whether it'd be as successfull as the enhanced PodCast.

There were a bunch of the shows (nine in total) on the front page a while back; they're now on the One From the Archive page.

I agreee they were poor! maybe that was becuase they were forced comedy though... like what you see has to be funny!

Where as with the radio show we would just be watching the studio - type thing... just seeing the natural funny side of what is going on..? not sure if it would be a bit dull though.

I'd like to see if they could make it work.. even just turning the studio webcams to update more often.... I reckon it'd be good for us show-nuts to watch.. but I think your average punter'd find it a bit boring..

Yeah it was the lack of refresh rate on the webcams that kinda made me think of it.
You're right though it might just be something for the show nuts.

its a great idear but would never work he is the number 1 dj about at the moment and has been for a while, so why change that by moving into tv/video/webcams/. anyway i think chris has seen what happened to mr "i want fridays off" and is happy at radio 1

I agree with you in that he wouldnt want to leave radio 1 - clearly...

i simply meant a futher development to the shows 'accessories' - like the podcast and enhanced podcast. > just a video podcast of the show in an almost fly on the wall type way - like the webcams
