The place where everyone hangs out, chats, gossips, and argues

This is the thread for commenting about this weeks shows (and if by some miracle reviews as well).

This section is NOT for a random comment about how the team is all great and they are the best radio show ever. However true that is that goes in the general section. This is for this week's shows only? Understand?

Sorry for the mini rant. Comment away

I couldn't really get into today's show because i knew it was all pre recorded, it was like listening to a clip show.

And i thought Keifer Sutherland was going to be a great guest, but once again Chris had to * it up.
I'm getting really tired of Chris spending entire interviews just asking if he can be in there movie/music video / or sing backing vocals on there songs. It was funny for maybe the first two times he did it, but now it just seems to be all he does. I normally just skip through the interviews now.

I agree GF05, as much as it was a good listen, there is something about pre records I don't like. The thing I love about the Moyles show is that it is all spontaneous and you know it's happening there and then, and you feel a part of it. A pre record you never quite get that.

Plus there was less Dom on todays show.

Please shut up. As fans we're allowed to slate the show as well as praise it. We've heard enough to tell when its good, and heard enough to tell when its bad.

But of course, I hate the show so much. Thats why I listen every morning.

Just listened back to the Kiefer Sutherland part of Mondays show. Great guest, seems like a real nice genuine guy. Shame about the pre-record because the links loose their fluidity. David summed it up with.

Am listening to Monday's show on ListenAgain right now. I think it's hilarious that Chris tries to get on people's shows. You would, wouldn't you? He's just being your man's man. Kiefer's doing a superb job, and not being too scared at Chris's amorousness ;) Great show. Loved Aled's comment about being "in the background" of 24 ;)

Tuesday 30th's show was great. Time just flew by today while I was listening to it. Was amazed when the 'gravelly pips' went at the end, and Jo Whiley appeared.

After listening to Chris's assault on Poo Lady, I did some reading on her.. At first I thought Chris may have being a bit harsh, but I can totally see where Chris is coming from. She scares me.

This might sound bollocks, but here goes.

Wednesday: The show was brill, I really enjoyed it from start to finish (granted I was sleeping in parts of it) but still it was bloody good. There were some quality bits from pretty much all the team (Rachel, Dave, Aled, Chris and the sport and news monkeys) were all working well together. I like the voice stuff which was especially funny.

I think the show gets better after 9, esp when Aled arrives, its a shame he's not on more before 9. I personally think The Half time ramble is probably were some of the best bits of the show come from.

Dom and Carrie are an important part of the team. The really add that extra bit to the show.

Thursday: Classic moyles rant. 'king brillant again! Aled was very careful in what he thought about people. Moyles at his best!

With you 100% there.

I think the show gets better after 9 because there is no competitions/scripted bits. I know a breakfast show needs things like world cup competitions etc to keep up with other shows giving prizes, but half an hour of player or not a player doesnt make the best of listening in my opinion.

After 9 there is usually little material, and thats when Chris and the rest of the time really shine.

In the last few weeks especially, there's been a shortish section between 7:00 and about 7:20 when JK and Joel hang about which is usually a good laugh.

Also in recent weeks, Chris's surgical dissection of some of the news articles has been brilliant too. Dom and Carrie do a great job of 'professionalising' the news, and then Chris comes in with "Come on, that bloke was just stupid.".. Class.

Tranny Rachel is absoluley hilarious.

I take back all the bad things I've ever said about her.

I actually really agree with you Fathomer, it was very very funny indeed. They should really create a new feature around the whole voice machine thing...involving rachel or dom.

But yes, Rachel certainly has finally got into the spirit of things.
