The place where everyone hangs out, chats, gossips, and argues

I need your help guys!

I travel quite a long distance to work and petrol money was becoming a problem and so I jumped at the chance when someone suggested car sharing with a few other guys. Things were good until i realised that they may not listen to Chris Moyles in the morning.
My greatest fears were realised on the first car share morning as I listened to a dumb Rabbi giving his "thought for the day" 8O on radio 4. So, it has been a week with no Chris Moyles show whilst driving to work. While at work I have been stumped by a stupid newly created net security system that doesnt allow you to use streaming internet content so no listen again for me either!.

All I have now is a weekly podcast.

The only way I can listen to the show again would be to somehow save the streaming listen again content, compress the file with something like winzip (because zip file slip though the work radar) and then download this zip file from somewhere. So questions...

1) Does any chirs moyles fansite do this?
2) Do you think this site would do it? (I wouldnt mind paying a small subscription even).

Help me guys, help meeeeeee!

Due to issues of space and bandwidth, not to mention the many legal issues, it's very unlikely that anyone will ever do this. You do, however, still have other options, like asking the computer admins/technicians to allow streaming media (either all, or just from the BBC), or you could buy a radio to listen to it on.

am i right in saying you dont have a compputer at home??

if you do you can download the songs using NetTransport

it doesnt cost that much

then download the days show (you will find the ra links on here somewhere)

you could then convert the ra file to mp3 so you can then play it on an mp3 player. (info here - http://chrismoyles.co.uk/phpBB2/viewtop ... ighlight=_)

you could then zip it up if you wanted.

NB - the ra (realplayer) file for one show is about 43 Mb so not sure how big this would be zipped up. maybe invest in a flash key if its too large to email

Ah, but is the large down copnor road larger than the large one up the road?

no its probably smaller cos they use stupid bag things to put the chips in but the one up the road uses the traditional paper and the chinese woman who wraps them up is very friendly so its win win situation

Always chat up people in chip shops, you get more chips. I find this works at 2am in the morning. If you heckle them, they put more chips in for nothing.

Its like 2.00 for chips when I get out of the clubs, they could probably charge me a tenner and I'd know no better though.

i bought a dab radio yesterday. 45 quid, not bad. it's one where you just plug it into your stereo into the aux input. in my case it's into my pc and i tested it with recording yesterday. it sounds great.
