Am i right in thinking that for the Sony Awards the producer has to collect the best examples of the shows out put to put forward for the judges to see if it sould win gold, silver or bronze? I remember a few years ago they made a feature of this getting ready for that years awards - It‘s some years ago hard to cast my mind back that far!

Yeah, its up to the individual shows/stations to send in a tape of about an hour long. I'm sure one year Chris got people to vote for their favorite moments.

I like the fact they flashed the Radio 1 logo on the screen before they actually said who had won the Station of the Year.

I don't understand what the big appeal of Wogan is. I don't just hate Wogan because I'm a Moyles listener, I have listened to Wogan and he's sh**e. Yet I know people my age who loves listening. He's boring, mutters on about rubbish, and if it wasnt for his listeners would have nothing to speak about.

You're right. I listened to his 'togcast' once, and I didn't get most of what he was saying. He doesn't even speak in to his microphone properly
