The Westwood thing was genius, not laughed at the show as much in ages. With Aled there there's so much more comedy potential...

I would completely disagree, I didn't like this morning show as much as usual, and the only reason I can think is because Aled was producing, I'm not a fan of him, although Rachel doesn't try and be funny I'd say she brings more humour to the show than Aled any day. Thats my opinion anyway.

Aled's never on air before 9am normally is he? Just bring him in earlier... I don't think you can really compared a one day stint. And anyway, surely in terms of the producer we should be thinking what goes on off-air. All you're saying is put Aled on air more, doesn't really have to effect Rachel.

Moyles exposed Aled's new confidence today excellently. I definately think Aled should have more on-air exposure and maybe produce it rather than Rachel.

Rachel is more of a hard-line producer wanting to get things done. Aled has this more relaxed way and it sounded like the old days of afternoons today.

And anyway, surely in terms of the producer we should be thinking what goes on off-air. All you're saying is put Aled on air more, doesn't really have to effect Rachel.

I really am confused with all these extra people on the show. I think Aled and Joce deal with the off-air bits (e.g. playlist, taking phone calls, features) while Rachel actually produces the actual "show" knowning when things should be placed and whats to be played. I am probably wrong.

I'm fed up with Rachel actually. Just recently she seems to be really miserable and has moaned a lot. She brings down the whole 'atmosphere' the show has at times. Aled was much better today as he doesn't whinge and moan like Rachel does a lot of time.

(of course), the sounds, songs, details of odd things are in the datebase and if the show gets conplaints she is the one with the biggest blame because she is in charge of the show, Causing worry and stress in her job! Aled would be like that in two years time because the job becomes stress full as the shows profile goes up.

I agree that Rachel can be moody and quite strict but she is just doing her job, they should really rescrict her to off-air producer like on the other radio 1 shows, is there a need to hear them, and give Aled more airtime.

I disagree with having off air producers. Scott's show they have 'the ones that don't speak' which is fine as Scott's producer reckons there should be limited voices on their show. But with Chris' show I like it because they do the complete opposite, and have quite a few.

Moyles hardly ever does. Anyway, Rachel would probaly only leave if a job "up the top" came up, since she is Breakfast Producer and all. That would probaly go to Rhys.

Why is that a reason for not changing producer though? It comes with the territory.

For me, Chris's show is all about entertainment. The funnier people the better as far as I'm concerned. Yes Rachel is probably a brilliant producer, but Aled is funnier. End of.

Aled has no comedy talents at all, at least Rachel brings comedy to the show in her own way, such as Chris taking the mick etc. Aled is just to over gay, I mean I don't mind people being gay but I don't understand people that go over the top on purpose so make it obvious.

Aled doesn't have to have any comedy "talents". He's naturally funny with the things he says and does. How on earth does Aled exagerate and become overally camp? I've heard far worse (example like Graham Norton).

Aled is a fantastic addition to the team and should be on-air more often and "possibly" take Rachel's role..........or Rachel should sit back more for Aled to be on-air more often.

greyhead is by far the best producer the show has ever had when they were on in the afternoon. i remember when he came back for breakfast, the show was awesome! i think rachel is alright but recently she's just been a moody cow and not as funny, and she's actually found a man so i dunno what the crack is there.
i like aled in the show, whether it be produce or just coming in a bit earlier!

I've said how much I dislike Rachel speaking on the show for some time now. I just don't think she's cut out to make people laugh. She acts like a middle aged woman who can't relate to the shows target audience and whines constantly. If she is to be kept on I'd prefer her to be one of the people who don't speak. They should create an opening for her so she could leave with dignity.
