Does anyone know the joke that Chris and Dave were alluding to about 7:25 this morning? Involving Jeremy Beadle and a game of cards?

I don't know for sure but it might be the following:-

Jeremy Beadle and his wife were playing cards when Jeremy's wife leans over and says "That a crap hand you've got there".

NB: The poor taste of this joke is not mine, I'm just reciting it.

for those of you that didn't get that "joke" beadle has poland syndrome. Named after Sir Alfred Poland, Poland anomaly (PA) is described as an underdevelopment or absence of the chest muscle (pectoralis) on one side of the body and webbing of the fingers (cutaneous syndactyly) of the hand on the same side (ipsilateral hand). A woman came up to me on the high street with a clipboard the other day, she said "can you spare a few minutes for cancer research?", i said "well i can but we won't get much done, we can pop into boots see if theyve got anything!".

You could incorporate a certain story in current affairs into a joke about cancer, not that I'm going to, although I'm sure somebody already has.

regarding the legal thing they sign disclaimers against certain eventualities but definitely not something like this! They will be able to make a claim of some sort.

Btw I heard their friends and family aren't talking to them after all the publicity they got. They think they've got too big headed!!
