I am amazed that Moyles has gone. But I have to say that there is part of me that is glad that he has been brought down a peg or two. His face was priceless when it was announced that he was going.

Moyles ego is what makes him what he is and, perversely I suppose it is what I like about him but I think it was his downfall tonight.
A proportion of the general public who don't listen to his show obviously took a dislike to him as he clearly wasn't voted out on performances alone as he was consistently excellent.

But will he care? Will he bollocks. At 100-grand the richer neither would I!

Bizarrely.. I thought the thing which makes the radio show work so well is that despite the fact that Chris's sharp wit can slice lemons at 30 paces, he always comes off looking slightly out-of-line, and sometimes a little over-reacting... So a bit of 'downfall' is just right cos you know he'll be back on his feet slagging cowell off before 7:30 tomorrow... Can't wait
