Mills' morning shows have been incredibly boring for me. They are too scripted. The kids bit is a waste of time. The celebrity time checks are irritating - very obvious that they've called them 5 minutes before and told them to say "what are you doing calling me at .... a.m.?" Pointless.

I've switched off in a morning since Mills came on. It wouldn't surprise me if listening figures have dipped over these last two weeks. At least Chris is back on Monday.

Yup JS switches off and all of a sudden all the ratings dip.

Well I've listened to more Mills at Breakfast then I did listen to Moyles.

You run a Scott Mills fansite though. I think the figures will have dropped, just like if any regular DJ is off on holiday. I expect the afternoon listeners will have dropped with Vernon.

actually i have to say that i have switched off as well for most of the last 2 weeks. i get the feeling that scott mills' show has to run to an exact timetable - e.g. the kids feature at 7:40 etc. he's just not as entertaining as moyles.

Chris's show runs to an exact timetable too though, which is annoying as it makes him more restricted, and thus the shows don't sound as good as we know they can.

Yes, I agree about the timetabling. All shows must run to a timetable, but it doesn't seem to concern Chris too much. He doesn't talk about what's to come and at what time like Scott did, certainly not for minor features anyway.
