oasis

there problem now is over-production alongside song writing in settled enviornments.

they were great when they were nobodies, they were fantastic. they had the * you attitude to the industry coupled with a real love of their music.

now, their minted and more chilled out. the passion has gone. oasis are now a parody of themselves. anyone who bigs up the new album is talking out of there arse.

you are talking out your arse.

oasis still make great music but they set their level so high it was impossible to maintain.

oasis were never really nobodies, their success was pretty much instant.

Radio 1 could have done better in my opinion - they couldn't even breakaway from the playlist for 5 or so hours. They could have brought us the music from Berlin, etc.

BBC TV kept getting in the way of the music with Fern Cotton and her stupid interviews.

The BBC could have switched between the other venues a bit more. Least there's interactive.

Have you ever listened to Modern Life Is Rubbish?

The only Gorillaz songs that are good are the ones with the raps in it eg. Clint Eastwood and Feel Good Inc. The only exception to this is the 19/2000 remix (the one Moyles plays).

1. yes both albums did go to number 1, blurs was released in september and sank down the chart whilst oasis went into number 1 in october and stayed there for a long while and still appeared in the top 10 a year later whilst blurs album was consigned to the bargain bin
2. blurs best album was parklife, it goes without saying, modern life is rubbish was a step in the right direction after the stone roses esque leisure but modern wasnt a patch on parklife.
3. coxon and albarn were blur, not the other two numpties, you get rid of one and no wonder they arent as good.

Yeah and he was introduced by his 'good friend' David 't**t' Beckham... everything Beckham said sounded like he was reading a script badly to me... Lenny Henry did the best intro, that or Lou and Andy off Little Britain, they were both class, but I can't remember who Lenny introduced.
