The show isn't bad I suppose. However, I only tune in because Radio 5 is still stuck in the dark ages on muffled wave, and I can't stomach commercial radio, period. I find some stuff on the show funny, but what really annoys me is Aled. I'm not sure (or bothered) if he's gay, but the campness of this man(?) I find intolerable and have to switch off the radio. He should be an air steward so I can throw food at him on flights.

Chris - You and the team make me laugh every morning.

You are good. But Scott Mills is funnier.

(Only joking!)

To Chris and his crew,
I think the breakfast show is by far the best part of radio 1. It is noticably awful when Scott Mills stands in for Chris, although JK and Joel did a good job yesterday when Chris was away. Chris has a unique wit and the different personalities of the crew seem to enhance the enjoyability of the show. I think Dave and Chris are good together (in the professional sense, not the biblical sense), and the recipe for a perfect show has certainly been prefected. Please keep up the good work, you all make mornings fun and enjoyable. I do not look forward to Scott Mills standing in for you and in fact that is when I turn to radio 2 or worse, a local station!

vijaydesai wrote:Before anybody starts I am a fan of Chris Moyles but his show is now becoming repetitive and boring.

Never have liked comedy Dave as I don't see what his tedious link and "Let's get ready to ramble" rubbish add to the show. Time to get rid and bring in a new team.

Listening figures have peaked for the show and he's on his way down.

Can see him getting replaced soon by Scott Mills.

You are soooo wrong -
Dave is great. Chris is excellent. Scott Mills sucks! You need to seriously review your judgement skills if you think that the show is on the way out - loser!

moyles is great but not perfect, if the team could take criticism and use it to improve the show [i.e. the ghost thing after 'ramble' is the stupidest thing ever, please stop it] then it would be even better.

Hopefully they can learn from the guests too, i think most moyles fans could have predicted halle berry wouldn't be a great interview ahead of time but whoever books the guests obviously couldn't. A lot of the american guests don't seem to get his style, especially the females [drew barrymore, destiny's child and halle berry to name a few] so why keep booking them? Maybe the bosses are pushing these guests on the show but more consideration needs to be given to which guests will be good and which won't [i.e. jackman yes, berry no]

ps. bring back buzz off!

I think The moyles team do a great job of entertaining and bringing to life a sleepy nation of people every weekday morning. If you dont like the show then here is an other option. Go listen to something else instead of whining on!!

So Chris and the gang, Keep it up, you make the start of my shift at work fly by and as an amature radio DJ, you inspire me. Thank you all.

I've just been drawn to this board by a mate.

I've listened to the show online.

I am wondering whether Mr Moyles was being deliberately ironic this morning, if not he has a serious attitude problem. If he can't take criticism from people who LIKE him then what criticism can he take?

Just a few thoughts - C.

The show is still the funiest show on the radio, and I thoroughly enjoy it whenever I get chance to listen - I don't think any of these things are in question.

However, I also think that Chris is spending much more time recently talking about how great he is, rather than continuing to focus on the humour which has made the show what it is.

Furthermore, Chris has been heard to say that he's the best thing that's happened to Radio 1, and everyone is to write in and say how great he is - but I don't listen just to hear Chris - the show is so funny because of the whole team and the chemistry within it - not just Chris - and he should be much more public about the fact that the team make it the best show on the radio, not just him.

I listen to Steve Wright in the afternoon too - a very similar format of show to Chris' - and Steve always involves his whole team, and claims that it is them and the listeners that make the show, not him - he has stood the test of time much longer than most.

So, my summary - Chris, it's still the finest show on the radio, but stop thinking it's only you that makes it so special, it's the whole possey. Don't fall into the same trap as so many DJ's before you, who reach such a level of popularity that they forgot what got them there and dissapear up where the sun don't shine.

I am Ms Halle Berri’s agent and after listening to the show last week, I have decided to drop her from the books. Inevitably she will be unable to work and will no longer to meet her mortgage payments, buy nice dresses or make up and probably will end up on the street feeding from garbage cans and shooting up.

It’s sad but after the way she treated my Breakfast show heroes, she deserves everything she gets. (Xmen is crap anyway)

Sad that people take it so seriously...Its a radio show, supposedly designed to entertain...Hmm does it actually do that? Sometimes it does Sometimes it doesn't....Sometimes its good.....Sometimes its....Not
