I have to admit that I'm not too keen on Scott Mills. And when he fills in for Chris whilst he's away, I tend not to bother with listening to the radio in the morning before work. Whilst at work, I would rather listen *gasp* to another station if I had to listen to the radio at all - Thank goodness for my iPod!

I only ever use my radio to wake me up when Chris is away, then it goes off. I can't listen to wogan or i'd never get out of bed, he sends me back to sleep.

If you haven't listened to Mills in a while try again. I think he has improved loads. I was never a fan but its a decent show now and Chappers is brilliant on it.

I would agree with that was never a big fan of Mills, but he has certainly improved since doing the afternoon slot, I now listen everyday.

This is true. Not to say that Moyles is awful at breakfast - there have been some quality moments. But overall, I think Chris has had to become a lot more "corporate" with the show - having competitions and promotions that he usually wouldnt have touched on the afternoons.

At the time though, it was the best decision for Chris to go to breakfast, since Scott was still stuck on earlies

Scott moved to weekends in January 2004 when the whole schedule had a bit of a re-vamp thanks to Chris moving to breakfast.

I believe LCD wears off in-around 8-10 hours. Stay with it and you will be ok.

i think whoever goes on breakfast has to put up with all the competitions and crap.

Oh yeah, I'm not saying Chris should drop the competitions etc (I doubt he could even if he wanted to) as it would be a bad move for the station overall - with it being the flagship show. I'm just saying that aspect doesn't really suit the show and seems to bog him down a bit

An opinion can't be wrong. Anyway, Scott has never done the breakfast show full time so there can be no comparison of listening figures.

I agree with you about colin and edith but im a huge fan of jk and joel as you can tell i help frun the forum on their fansite...but anyhowz spoony is a legend if vernon kay was going to fill in on drive for 2 weeks i would not listen i cant stand him at all.
