Having been involved in an affair between the chris moyles show and christian o connell on virgin for the past months, radio1 definently took my alegance today.
Today's show had some really brilliant moments, the appearence of the sir ian mckellen of voiceover world - Peter Dickson was an unexpected joy. Whilst Paul Turner is a fantastic voiceover, a switch to a new voice which isn't used by Howard Stern could help give the show a bit of an 'airing'.
Chris if your considering this, give Nick Coady a chance. He's a fecking legend which charges reasonable rates and is .
Besides this, Billie Piper's participance goes to show how a good guest can help make a show really great. She added her bit into the pot and it felt that the team as a whole found a new lease of life. I thought the whole moyles/x factor thing was going to make me stay tuned on virgin -but the whole 2 hours of constant shamless promotion for listeners to vote hasn't materialised.
