l have 4 black kids....l am white. l teach them not to play the race card....they will only get hammered for it.

l also teach them that they may be called coloured, black, mixed race, half cast etc, and all are ok cos these days no one knows what is ok!

I've just listened to the interview for the first time (I wasn't interested in either of them last week so I did something else when they were on and only heard the aftermath).

To be fair to Chris, I don't think he made a racist comment. He just sounded really bored and like he was trying ANYTHING to keep the interview going. He wasn't exactly getting anything back from her! And all this PC stuff she's been spouting since about being a "person of colour"? Honestly, aren't we all people of colour, nobody is the exactly the same shade of white or brown or black asdthe next person. Or should "white" people take offence and demand to be known as "people without colour" now?

Halle Berry get over yourself. Why do SOME black people think that just because you use the word black you are racist. Chris put an american voice on which was crap so Hugh Jackman asked was he from Brooklyn. Its not therefore Chris' fault that Hollywood has created this stereotype of Black junkies holding people up with guns. Yes its a stereotype but that doesn't make it racist. Racism in the true sense is a loathing of people from a different race or colour. Not a stereotype.
Had Chris said all black guys are junkies who rob people I hate the lot of them - that would be racist. He made no derogatory remarks whatsoever. He purely said he was playing the role of a fat, black, american guy. Why has no one called him fattist? Most americans are fat aren't they where is that argument?
Just lighten up, there was no malicious intent so stop being offended and take it in the manner it was meant light hearted entertainment. Sticks and stones and all that Jazz!
