What do you think?

Very good. It's interesting to see how parts of Radio 1 has advanced, and parts of it has gone the wrong way.

Never heard Moyles back in those days, but he certainly has changed over the years

great facts from my books

australian producer josh abrahams whose debut hit originally charted a week before its official release date at @68 owing to a number of stores selling early. its rise to @2 was the biggest rise in the charts since steps rose from 70 to 2. had copies not been sold a week early, it would have hit the number 1 spot.

it deserved to be number 1 though... more so than some of the absolute trash that has made it to No1 over the years.
anyone know what held it off No1?

I still have the Moyles version too, and still like it (except the fishywishy bit)

Chris's version is better. Just having a listen now, reminds me of my first year at uni. I distinctly remember it playing as I walked past my local chippy on the way home from uni one day, it seemed so apt.

My everlasting memory of Robbie Williams & Nicole Kidman Somethin' Stupid will be the fact Chris kept playing the intro over and over again and Jon Culshaw would sing a bit every time...

i remember being in the official chris moyles chatroom 3 days prior to this parody being aired, in which i mentioned a parody idea called 'totally addicted to plaice'.

On the same day moyles had been actively using the chat room to form the basis of many of the on air links on the show.

To sum up, Mr Moyles pimped my ride.
