j. vegas is very funny. he goes well with the monkey and its a shame that the stupid people at itv digital don't market their little idea off. instead of making their monkey from stupid crappy itv digital they could create vast wealth from selling the big mouthed monkey to little kids.

vegas is very similar to moyles. northern, funny and overweight. if i were a radio boss looking for new talent, i'd give a job to johnny vegas. it would of been nice to have seen him on the moyles show, but i get the understanding that vj doesn't like him. where was the bit about moyles on '101' - on the cutting room floor. i suspect that someone in the bbc decided that it wasn't wise that it was broadcasted. possible producer will...... just in case chris said anything back.

so- to the person who thought he wasn't funny. your sense of humour is at your local lost property office waiting for your collection. why, don't you find him funny. he's great. he's on shooting stars. he's got his own adverts. he must be doing something right.

so what other fat, funny and northern comedy people do you know that aren't funny?

I'm sorry but I'm not a member of the "Lets laugh at a drunk fat man" club. I can't say I like Jonny Vegas or find him in the least but funny. What is so funny about a Drunk Fatman. Perhaps it's a drunk thing that people find so damn funny. I can't say that I've seen him in anything that has made him stand out and made me laugh. As for the Monkey thing. It's only Monkey who has the wit and humour that makes it work.

I am a member of the Jonny VEgas fan club,he was very funny on Shooting Stars last night.
Another brilliant comedian is Bill Bailey.Admittedly Black Books isnt the funniest programme, byt his bewilderness stand up show was.

I agree with Mr Nablo Jordache hes not that funny, he was good in the Paul Whitehouse Happiness sitcom playing a...........wait for it............Drunk fat man, the monkey advert is ok but if he wasn't such a state he wouldn't be funny.

Bill Bailey is good with the instruments my favorite is Harry Hill, hes presense and hes jokes are very weirdly funny. American comedians are shite, but Chris Rock is very funny.

being drunk an fat isn't vegas's whole act. shootings stars is funny but a lot more restrained than in the past an the funniest lines usually come from johnny. if you watched room 101 he was hilarious on a show that is complete crap despite being hosted by paul merton who is usually funny.

George Dawes alone comes up with loads more funnier lines that Vegas ever does. George Dawes in one episode says more funnier lines that Vegas does in the whole series.

I like Vegas, on the Big Breakfast he's funny, especially with "one, Richard Bacon". I'm upset he doesn't like Moyles, I would of thought the two would have got on well, but alas, it's not meant to be.
