Definitely. I think stuff like this is of interest to people using the site so there's a place for it.

Should the two shows be put elsewhere in the forum then?

Thanks to Nicola & Ben for taking over responsibility in updating the archive threads in the vault, as you could tell I kind of lost the heart in updating often so thanks for doing it for me.

I also have to thank those involved in getting these shows edited yet again, who'd had thought my old tape recordings from all those years back would have helped create perhaps the biggest archive for a Radio DJ (and possibly a bigger archive than the BBC now has).

Out of interest how many GB or TB of Moyles are we up to now? Have any more real vintage Moyles shows been unearthed of recent (by that I mean Afternoon Shows, The Early Bit & Capital FM and before)?
Regards, Johnny 1989

I've downloaded the four new Mark & Lard shows that someone linked to a few pages back, however, at least two of the four seem to cut off before the end of the show. I think judging from the length of the shows that they're only missing one link, but still. Do we think they're still worth editing and uploading to the archive?

I would say yes. Some of a show is better than nothing at all.

Yeah, I think so. Anyway, here's the first one, this show wasn't missing any links - March 3 2004:

https://www.dropbox.com/s/lp0ialu2e1w2c ... 3_2004.mp3

if someone could upload it to IA and post the link, that'd be super duper.

Er... Nicola? Isn't there a separate thread for Mark and Lard discussion?

Thanks, as ever, for this, but I think you cut out the TCMS version of "Cedric Gervais - Molly" at 2h.25m.

I put it here cos I don't think people read the M&L one regularly. What, are you trying to moderate me?

I think maybe once CMS has finished there might be a case for separating shows like this into distinct threads or sections for Dave, Dom etc, but we'll worry about that when we come to it! :)

Yeah it can be a pain sometimes. From an editing poit of view I'll be glad when the shows ends, and I can concentrate on editing old shows more. Here's the rest of May:
