Does anyone have an estimate of how big the entire podcast archive (2005-2012) is in terms of GB?

I can't get to the download bit to see the size as I'm on a work computer, and I'm looking to get a dedicated CM podcast mp3 player

my best guess is (30mb x 52 weeks) x 7 years = 10.92gb

I have 11.5 GB of Moyles Podcasts... I think I have a few missing, but won't be many from '05-'12.
I've actually met Chris n shook his hand. This fact is still causing slight issues in my trouser dept....

Actually, delayed thanks for the content on the archive. I listen to Radio 1 podcasts during an hours walk every lunchtime at work and I spent a few years listening to the back catalogue of Moyles, Mills and the small amount of Mark and Lard (oh why couldnt the podcast have been around when they were on air :( ) a few years back.

Ive downloaded again, braced for September :(
Wake up with Moyles, go home with Mills my ass

Apologies if this is a really silly question but can I download these podcasts to iTunes in a way that I can keep them on my iPod? If so, can someone let me know how to do it?

Many thanks

Depends how you want them saved / stored on your iPod. If you don't mind having them saved in the Music Folder then do the following -

- Create a Moyles Podcast Folder on your desktop.

- Download and save the podcast files to the folder ^.

- Create a Moyles Podcast Playlist on iTunes.

- Open the Moyles Pocast file folder and iTunes next to one another

- Click and drop chosen file into specific playlist iTunes file.

- Remember to mark the playlist to sync.

As long as you don't move the Moyles Podcast folder from your desktop the files will remain on your iPod.

If you want it all fancy and sparkly check out the 'Radio 1 doesn't want me anymore thread.'
