The Glasgow Show

Postby theodore » Fri May 18, 2012 1:09 pm

On the show this morning (18th) They were talking about a show they did in Glasgow where things kept going wrong.

I know it is a long shot, but does anyone know if it is possible to get a copy of this show somewhere online?

Thanks

Did they mention a month or even a year? I'm guessing not. Roughly what time this morning was this discussion?

Judging by this -

Dare you to click here, might be obscene porn. Who knows??????

Think it was the 3rd Sept 2009

or the 10th Sept.

Not sure how Iplayer works in that respect.

Edit -
I am not being a lazy bastard by not going and listening to the archive, just I ain't got me any speakers at work to check them out.

Oh and I embarrassingly read theodore as 'the odore' and thought what a great name.
Nothing wrong with theodore mind, just liked 'the odore' more.

Well if you ever post again young man I shall now be referring to you as 'The Odore'.

Isn't it Wednesday 9th of September 2009? (as they get everyone to beep their horns at 09:09, 09.09.09)

I don't think that is the 10th Sept 09 what they are meaning this morning. I remember that was the one that was part of the record breaking show tour where Dave slept in and was late coming in and they talked about the fire procedure at the time brand new BBC Scotland buildings.

The theatre tour was in Nov 2010 but they didn't do the show from Glasgow or BBC Scotland they did it from the Perth Concert Hall. Which is 63 miles away from Glasgow. It was the Friday show of the Access All Areas tour and it was 5th November 2010. So i remember them talking about Fireworks and stuff like that.

EDIT:
Daily Record Article Date 11 Sept 2009 wrote:RADIO 1 DJ Chris Moyles ended up in casualty on one of his first visits to Scotland.

The roly-poly loudmouth was back in Scotland on Wednesday night to celebrate becoming the longest-serving breakfast DJ on Radio 1.

But the self-styled "Saviour of Radio 1" revealed his last trip north of the Border ended with a trip to casualty.

The Breakfast Show host was tucking into a pizza when disaster struck.

He said: "I was here doing a kids' show called Fully Booked.

"We went out for a pizza and, just as I took the first slice, I bit into the side of my tongue.

"I took a chunk out of it and had to spend four hours in casualty."

Just checked the information and Fully Booked ran from 95-99. So that would be when Chris was on early breakfast or when he went into the drive time slot. Hope that helps narrow it down, but probably not.

I'm completely confused now. If it was early breakfast or afternoons then the chances of us having it are slim to none.
