Fincham is going!

The place where everyone hangs out, chats, gossips, and argues

I'm still gutted about this. I'm really pleased for him and the promotion, but gutted for our (my own?) loss.
I've actually met Chris n shook his hand. This fact is still causing slight issues in my trouser dept....

I made a right tit of myself in front of Matt when I met him in the studio - he was answering a question that I asked him, and I was too busy staring at the studio. I just looked at him blankly and nodded - I don't think he liked me.

Did you hear his comment to Dave as well about how he'd miss him more than anyone else "and I really mean that"?. Could picture that being said through gritted teeth with forced smiles all round. Hope I'm wrong, to be honest, but I think either himself or Chris had had enough.

Mybe he wil miss him. He's a great comic foil for Chris

It's pretty much inevitable that Aled will be promoted eventually. In fact I think he's possibly allready turned down the chance so he can stay with Chris for the rest of his time on breakfast.

So you define 20 months as 'not long'?

I agree, he probably will. Eventually. But I doubt it'll be while Chris still has a show, let alone the breakfast show.

#Drama queen.

The contract is up in 20 months (unless I'm mistaken, which I am - it's 21).

Which doesn't quality as 'not long'.

Whats that got to do with the price of beans?! Al has already said he is with Chris for his duartion at R1, why specualte otherwise?!!

If I say I'm leaving work at 4pm. You need not spend the next 13 minutes guessing what time I'll finish and under what circumstances. You could, of course, but it makes you look a little mental.

I think Aled said he would be with Chris for the rest of his time on breakfast, not radio One.Of course it's always possible that Chris will leave the station altogether when he leaves the breakfast show , but that's yet to be decided

I will be sad to see Matt go for one reason and one reason only. I loved it when Chris and Dave ripped the piss out of him for not doing what they asked him to do. He was good comedy value for that reason.

To be honest i wouldn't miss Tina if she went. I have gone through stages of she is ok, to the extreme of she is so annoying and i want her off the show. I am more and more in the she's annoying and i want her off the show territory.

Today (Tues 27th March) i found her to be disrespectful to us the listeners, when they played The Voice game. She said and i may not be using the right words here. "I don't think anyone who is listening cares." When Chris was talking about someone behind the scenes. I am a listener and i do like listening to Chris, Dave, Dom, Matt and Aled talk about things they have seen or heard about people at Radio 1. It is usually something funny and it gives us the listener an insight to people who work at R1. Is it just me?
IT WAS WHAT IT WAS.
"IF you don't leave now, there is no going back."
"I don't want to go back."
"Ask Me to stay"
"Stay"

Will be sad to see Matt go, always enjoyed how he just brings another quirky element to the show. All the links with Clannad, The Billl, Granny Boily eggs etc over the year have been great radio, hope he gets on great in the new role.
