Just listening back to this as heard Chris mention it just after the show started Tuesday morning. Did anyone hear it live?

Haven't heard Chris regularly in the afternoon since, well, way back in the day when he was on drivetime - was that around 1999? He sounded like he was really enjoying it (same enthusiasm he had during the marathon) and he can be great without the staid morning posse. Sounds like he enjoyed working with Laura!

Looking forward to him standing in again. Coxy, Dev - who ?! Wonder if he will mention supply.dj@bbc.co.uk which was the running joke Kevin had.

They tried that about a year ago. He only lasted three days, bloody lightweight.

Scott has served his time was all I was saying, and been very loyal, whether you or I rate him or not, I've spent 9 years avoiding him and always take a break from the radio when he covers.

I quite liked solo Moyles, although I'm sure it was just the novelty value of it and it would have worn off if he'd continued covering for the rest of the week. Still, it was a little glimpse into his possible radio future when he might not have Dave or any team around him, and it sounded good.

I like Grimmy. I just don't like any of the music he normally plays. So if he's covering breakfast I would probably give it a listen.
