8 Years of The Chris Moyles Breakfast Show

The place where everyone hangs out, chats, gossips, and argues

Righto you lot. Firstly Nisha was (is?) lovely. If a little short...! :D

Travis rides a motorbike, so like me, is instantly raised to level of demi-god for our death defying feats. Mmmok?

Badge is lovely, but in no way driven by a desire to be nice to people, but he means no malice so don't loose sleep.

Lets all kiss and make up.

no, seriously, lets all kiss..... :?
I've actually met Chris n shook his hand. This fact is still causing slight issues in my trouser dept....

If you wanna argue and insult each other fine, just take it to Ramble. In fact the rules even specify as such:

If a message board is to be a success, it has to be full of things that many people find interesting, want to read or want to contribute to. If you have nothing of general interest to say, say nothing.

Personal insults, private conversations, and items that only mean something to a very small number of friends do not belong on chrismoyles.net. If you must argue, take it to the appropriate forum (The Ramble Section).

I think that pretty much covers it.

Stop your bloody SQUABBLING! It is amusing for about three posts then it is just stupid. Really, stop being so self indulgent. We know you are witty. Take it to PM if you want to continue your verbal version of self-gratification past a couple of comments. No one wants to watch any kind of masturbation.

They did plenty of times before any of you were here, so they will again.

Yes they will but hopefully it will be five pages worth bloody reading, as opposed to all the silly shit you lot seem to think everyone wants to share.

Is content value not completely subjective...?

Are you suggesting an update on Baby Yuds Squash progress is of more value than Badgers Jizz jokes, to me...? For example.

Yes I am, but only because my comments on said matter don't extend to dozens of posts with pointless, repetitive and predictable "jokes" in them. In other words, they are easy to avoid if you aren't interested.

Pages and pages of shit in an otherwise interesting topic is NOT easy to avoid.

Nah....

I stand by by 'content subjective' statement. Editing out other peoples input you consider drosh, would be great, but we'd be left with no forum, as somebody, somewhere will always dislike your input, no matter how sane and subject relevant.

+1

it's easier to dislike content when it's stuff that wouldn't even get into a third rate panel show hosted by Jeff Braizer. once in a while is okay, but constant unfunny submissions and 'phwoar i'd give her one' with little reaction gets quite tedious.

I'd argue that it's objective within the context of the thread title and section. A thread entitled 'what's making you smile/laugh today?' in a section entitled 'Ramble' is very possibly gonna contain jokes and maybe even offensive humour, as well as posts about sporting achievements of the posters' offspring. A thread entitled '8 Years of the Chris Moyles Show' in the 'General' section should probably not contain stuff like that.

Also a recycled old jizz joke is unoriginal and furthers noones knowledge about anything - bringing enjoyment to few. At least make it a good joke.

ps. your mum's a recycled old jizz joke. LOLOLOLOL.

see, i'm showing how funny i am AND i'm contributing to the forum positively.

Wreaks of bullying.....

To keep things on subject is a better stance than 'you talk $hit and bore me'. that jazz is an opinion, we all have different ones.

But I posted the rules regarding this above, and those are not opinions, they're what you agreed to when you joined. "Personal insults, private conversations, and items that only mean something to a very small number of friends do not belong on chrismoyles.net."

I think there's a compromise to be struck somewhere. I honestly don't want you or anyone here to feel bullied, or like they wouldn't want to post because they wouldn't be heard or taken seriously. If I may sound like a hippy for a moment, I would really like this to be a safe space.
