And oddly enough these are the names I use for my genitalia.

In using the word genitalia I was referring to the whole kaboodle. The carrot and the onions if you so wish. My Claudia and Davinas.

I can't get audio on this which defeats the object.

The physical similarity with Chris is quite good, but why is there a fat Dom, and an ugly chubby version of Tina?

I saw it on the repeat this evening, and it was not funny. Mind you, neither was the rest of the show. Come back Mike Yarwood, your country needs you.

Still makes me laugh when I think about it, (I have to pretend I'm yawning when walking down the street or I look stupid) cos it's so damn cheeky - Culshaw did say he likes to be cheeky, and he wasn't lying!

Moyles has had an easy life where parody is concerned, what with Spitting Image no longer around, he would've been mercilessly ripped to pieces by someone who would not have been classed as a 'friend of the show'.

My favourite bit is the timing and pauses when Comedy Dave croaks it. "..moment of silence..for..er.......comedy dave............." He got the deadpan delivery spot-on I thought. A great opening link Thursday morning too.

I think his Chris impression is the worst he does by quite a way. His John Bishop was very good, his Theo Paphitis is spot on. Paul McCartney is very good, but I imagine to an impressionist he's probably quite easy to get? Impressive the way he did Elton John singing.

I loved what they did with Vitty.

Overall it was very good imo.

Also loved the Andy Murray thing!

Been a fan of Culshaw since Ringers and to be honest I found that sketch to be one of the weakest I've ever seen him done. It sounded nothing like Chris and Tina and Dom were way too... large. Just felt rather weak to me.

The whole thing is rather mainstream nowadays, it seemed much more acute when Ringers was on BBC2 (I think). When they launched this show it just went a bit populist. Stephenson is great but her Tulisia is * dreadful. Like Chris said, a weak decision to go "Oh it's the X Factor innit, everyone knows that, let's have that as the very first sketch".

That said though, it does seem to be aiming for cheap laughs, and given how much effort goes into the visual side of things, it's still just about watchable.

Shame the BBC rolled over for Eammon * Holmes cos he threw toys out of pram at his impression - call it a shit impression by all means but to demand it cease to exist? Twonk. BBC should grow a pair. Cos I miss it I'm watching it again.

When I typed his name into Youtube the first suggestion that came up was 'retard' - Well, I wouldn't go that far, heh.

Hang on a sec he complained & they listened! Why? Who the * does he think he is, he's no major "star" and everyone else can take a gentle ribbing, what a *.

I thought his Eamonn Holmes was one of his best and I'm with Chris on his Len Goodman (not that I watch Strictly Come Dancing). I still love all the old prank calls from the afternoons though, they were the best. Who can forget Frank Bruno ringing Downing Street to ask, if he became an MP, "which party I should work for, you know who'll give me the most money and most time off, that sort of thing" - and Shaggy ringing a taxi company, Obi Wan ringing Kwik Fit and Patrick Moore giving his local scrap metal dealer a call! I think my favourite, though, was Tom Baker ringing NASA telling them the daleks were coming. Ahh, I've downloaded all of them from the sound vault.

Oh come on, The Doctor calling NASA to say the Daleks were coming was funny, the American girl wasn't sure if he was telling the truth or talking bollocks

This might be controversial...but I don't like Jon Culshaw's impressions. I just can't hear the similarities like other people do I guess....

You can kinda tell it is him sometimes because you can hear his voice underneath with some of the impressions...if you know what I mean. It's a difficult thing to describe. Personally, I was more interested in finding out how he managed to end up where he is today. At what point did he realise he liked impressions?

I can't answer that, all I can tell you is that Steve Penk helped make him a star by getting him to phone up Tony Blair as William Hague in 1998/9, Moyles' states on one of the 2000/1 shows that he stole him away from Steve Penk during a rant.

Would be interesting to know why h got into impersonations though, hopefully one day someone will do an straight interview with him rather than the usual "do an impression of The Doctor or Obi-Wan".

Yeah, I agree with you there. One thing that I disagreed with Chris about is saying it was a good impression and laughing... It really wasn't. :( Although, I do agree about the Xfactor bit, that was incredibly weak.

I like most of the sketches but the first ep hasn't made me excited for the series. What was the song thing all about?! Anyway, I find it hilarious that he had a winge and a moan about that impression, I've never liked him anyway, so I haven't.

Impressionists usually disappear up their own arses when they get a big budget and elaborate too much.

Alistair McGowan, doing voices, was funny. Alistair McGowan dressing up to look like David Beckham and performing an elaborate half hour routine where he plays the part of David Beckham, is shit.
