People Who clip sound stuff

Postby Gaspode_The_Wonder_Dog » Sat Jan 01, 2011 9:29 am

This isn't Moyles related but is it easy to do from the iplayer or somewhere? I would like something from Five Live this morning just after 8pm...

I can do it tomorrow afternoon if nobody does it first.

Aye it's simple, can either use a recording of the show, download it from the iplayer then copy and clip out the bit. Or if it's a very small clip even just record the audio playback from iplayer instead.

I use radio downloader and then clip using wavepad, altho I know Johnny uses audacity which I keep meaning to try. I could do it for ya if nobody else does Gaspode, let me know.

I use either audacity or wavepad, depending on the nature of the clip, recording the sound my computer is playing, which is obviously in most cases the iplayer.
Check out this week's Golden Hour Game, hosted by me.

If someone could do it that would be good as I am technically inept - its the part where Phil Williams reads out a tweet from someone *cough* regarding making something from butter, haribo and beer.

I mostly want it because my mate is in love with Ranvir Singh and she has discussed someone *cough* on national radio.

OK, I've clipped it.

Just tried uploading it to my own isp webspace, but it's knackered since my ISP got bought up by another and I got moved :(

I'll try attaching it to this reply.

Cheers - Ranvir Singh called me (er someone) bizarre. Great stuff.
