The forum software has been upgraded. As part of the upgrade you will notice a small change to the way the 'quick reply' feature works.

Previously there was a large box at the bottom of each thread where you could compose a reply - this is now activated by clicking the 'Quick Reply' button which you can find at the bottom of the thread.

Registrations and guest posting (where allowed) is now protected by a new captcha system, one you will likely be familiar with:

Is there a reason why the quick reply is now hidden? On the forum that I run, I was asked by some members to have that showing automatically and having experienced both, I think its less hassle having it open automatically.

Obviously, it isn't exactly difficult to just click the button to open it, but... I liked it the way it was dammit!
