Review
Chris starts by telling us about his job yesterday, to take clips of a Doctor Who CD to see if he could find any funny clips to use on the show. The only thing he could find was a clip of Christopher Eccleston saying "Willy Nilly".

Chris: Who is the scariest alien that Doctor Who has to fight?
Clip: Willy Nilly

Chris: Your female companion is Rose Tyler, if you had to have a male companion, what would he be called?
Clip: Willy Nilly

Chris: Episode 6....
Clip: Willy Nilly
Chris: Episode 7, Revenge of Willy Nilly... of course!

and so on!

Dave reckons the show has started by "hitting the ground walking"

Football talk out of the news... no one really cares about this at all. Fast Forward!

Chris is talking about the PFA awards. He switched on just in time to see the young player award.

Apparently the person announcing the award was so boring and tedious. When the man from SKY interviewed Wayne Rooney on winning the award, Rooney was just as bad. Loads of akward pauses. Awful according to Chris.

For some reason the first track after the news doesnt want to play. Dominic asks if Chris wants the "Emergency Love Boat" music loaded up. Dave didn't realise that Love Boat was the emergency music. Chris starts stopping the music at certain intervals just to see how quick Dom can get the Love Boat music playing.

Chris started a 10 day detox yesterday. It's only a drink detox. Rachel also started hers yesterday however she had a bacon sandwich yesterday. She did have a walk though. Chris thought it might have been a walk to McDonalds.

Corination Street talk. Katy's funeral last night. Chris doesnt know who Katy is. Candice is still trying to be a weather girl. Chris doesn't know who Candice is. Chris doesn't really watch Corination Street. Chris asks if Jack Duckworth is still in it. Yeah. Alf Roberts? No - he died ages ago. "JR? Big Texan guy with a hat?" "Is it still set in Liverpool?" Funny funny!

Chris couldn't speak between the Black Eyed Peas and Kasabian because he had a huge coughing fit, so it was two records back to back. Chris says there is no need for Emergency Love Boat. Carrie asks if there is a frog in there, Chris tells her its a piece of bacon.

Chris had an idea about performing in Sunderland, with Colin Murray organising a "hilarious twist". All a bit cryptic at the momment. Chris needs to entertain the audiance, but has no ideas. Rachel has an idea. Dave should perform Love Boat. Chris isn't so sure. Chris thinks Dominic should do a load of One Road travels on stage.

Chris isn't "loving" the new Eminem track. But he thinks it's alright.

Chris is asking Aled questions about Sunderland, and where it's at. Chris tells Aled that Sunderland is in "Sunderlandshire". When asking Aled about football, Aled reckons the local team is Sunderlandshire. Chris asks Aled what league they are in, Aled correctly answers the championship. Aled then cleverly asks Chris if thats "the same one as you" (in reference to
Leeds). Dave tells Aled "thats the right answer!"

Chris reminds Aled to wear his Newcastle Utd shirt at Sunderland... for added impact.

After the trail for Radio 1's New music machine, Chris describes him as being like Brum, but with attitude.

After the news Chris discusses a story in the news about a woman who pretended to be dying of cancer and conning friends out of £5000. Chris describes her as being sick. She spent £5000 going to trips to London. He wonders why anyone would want to go on trips to London when they could be going to the Bahamas.

Rob DJ's Monday Night Pub Quiz

Q1. Where would you have a lobotomy?
Chris says Chelmsford. Dave says Hospital.

The answer Chelmsford causes much hilarity. Dominic says the wording is quite misleading. Dave reckons that will be the clip for the trail.

Q2. Who wrote the childrens book Winnie the Pooh in 1926? Chris wonders if it is Dominic. He also wonders if the want the real name or the author name, because Stephen King changed his name.

Q3. Quiz, Joy and Throbbing Dumps is an anagram of this weekly event?
Throbbing dumps is apparently playing One Big Weekend. Mary Ann Hobbs is a big fan according to Dave.

Q4. What is the next number in this prime number sequence 5, 7, 11, 13, 17, 19, 23...?

Thats what Chris ordered from his local chineese last night. Chris gets the answer straight away... how wrong he was.

Q5. What is the largest country in South America?
Chris answers Chelmsford again.

Answers at the bottom of this review...

Car Park Catchphrase
Matt from Oxford (Roy has a story about that place... but that's for another time.) driving a Mercedes Sprinter is playing against Stuart from Portsmouth (Roy again has a story about that place) who drives a Ford Transit. Stuart builds electricity lines for a living. Dominic says "Thats Shocking!".

Matt wins today.

Rob DJ's Monday Night Pub Quiz Answers

Playing for the boys today is Paul. Playing for the girls is Leanne (who sounds like a man).

Q1. On the brain.
Not Chelmsford. Funniest part of the show this morning. Dave wanted a point to for the answer

head, but Rachel wouldn't accept the answer, it had to be brain. Dave asked Rachel "give us head then!"

Q2. A.A. Milne.
Dave answered Enid Blyton.

Q3. Rob DJ's Monday Night Pub Quiz
Dave put "Changing The Guards"

Q4. 29
Everyone else except Dave and Leanne said 25. Chris ranted for ages saying it was 25, but it was

PRIME numbers they were looking for.

Q5. Brazil
Paul said California.

Leanne won for the girls.

Rob DJ is on the phone after 8.30 to discuss the problems with the quiz.

There was a big row in the studio over the number sequence. Rob DJ sorts it out by telling everyone that the answer is deffinetly 29, as a prime number only divides by itself 1. Chris cant quite grasp the idea of prime numbers. Even I, someone that doesn't really understand maths can understand it. Dave has to explain to Chris about maths. Never thought you'd read that!
