What does everyone think about the new Sak Noel track, Loca People? I think its alright. Its a very good song. If a song goes to number 1 in the charts, i think its very good.

Indeed I can. Edit your post, and underneath the submit button, there is a blue panel of options. One of the tabs is 'poll creation'. Click that and enter your poll title (ie, 'Sak Noel: Pap or Not Pap?') and the options (ie pap or not pap) and submit.

Hated this song every since I first heard it so pap all the way for me. Oh and a song going to number 1 doesn't make it great automatically. It just goes to show that people will buy any crap and probably people going to Ibiza and clubs where this was probably played out didn't help matters either.

Also, Moves Like Jagger has been No 2 for like 4-5 weeks. Who is buying that? People who listen to Today FM because God knows it's played enough times on it (well during the night anyway)

Thing is, these days a song only needs to sell a few copies to chart. Back in the days of vinyl (ask your grannies...) singles used to sell in their hundreds of thousands. These days a couple of thousand will get you a decent chart position.

That is true hence why a lot of songs in my opinion that aren't great get in the top 10 easily and can stay there for a good few weeks without much hassle. Also, back then, songs could be No 1 for a number of weeks whereas nowadays every week sees a new No 1. I think the last long reigning No 1 was Rihanna with Umbrella in 2007 (10 weeks I believe).
