Annoying me today are people who moan about how broke they are and how careful they have to be and how they are going to struggle to pay their bills then waltz back after lunch with three dresses and a pair of boots which look exactly like three other pairs that they own.

Yep, a guy I work with said to me recently that he was "struggling to keep a roof over his head" and then the same afternoon recounting anecdotes of his last drunken night out the weekend before.

I dunno. My company does that with buying a bicycle. I felt kinda put out that I can't take advantage as my knee is too blocked with scar tissue to cycle.

It wouldn't be tax free, it would be a benefit in kind, and therefore taxed and NI'd just the same as salary. Unless you only lived in it when you were on the Job/on call. Oh unless you are a Tax inspector and then you can set up a Company, and claim your spare room as an office, and get to set off loads of home expences directly against your earnings! (you can do this, even if you are not a tax inspector, but then they have all sorts of other rules that apply to prove your badges of trade)

Ok, whose going to use the on the Job reference as a funny jape about nic first? My moneys on Boner, as he knows all about humour, apparently.

According to wiki, the 'blank post' trend of 2012 was an example of 'Pregnant Pause', combining it with repetitive structure, continually alluding that the format of joke would change - but never actually changing it. Whether this was funny or not, was not available on wikipedia.

I've just decided I want my fringe cut. This is just over a week after I was last in Preston (where my hairdresser is). I'm not planning to go back for 6wks. Why did I not decide this two weeks ago?? I don't wanna go somewhere else cos a) all hairdressers in Manc charge a fortune and b) I'm very nervous about having my hair cut and don't wanna entrust it to a stranger. Grr.

Annoying me and making me feel sad at the same time, most of our office has been put "wt.risk" with a person from each department having to lose one person, although my department was the only one not effected (so far), I feel absolutely awful especially as in one of the departments I'm friends with all the people effected.

I know it's happening everywhere now but we're a really close office and some of them I've worked with since the day I joined there 9.5 years ago

Annoying me is the awkward moment on the final day of my gym membership I get some personal trainer offering many kinds of epic help with nutrition, promises of assistance with workout and emails with info on everything.

All I could do was be incredibly vague..

"I'm pretty random, really not sure when I'll next be in, yeah I mean I'm sure I'll catch you around...."

Was like the scene from that film 'the river wild' where the ranger pops by to ask if everything is hunky dory, but kevin bacon is holding a gun behind them and they have to assure him everything is juust fine!

Annoying me is my stupid sleep pattern. Can never get to sleep at night till late even if go to bed early.

I tried to sleep at 11pm and now it's 1.06am and still can't sleep. I don't mind but have to be up in 6 hours time
