Aled's Radio 1 Schedule bed [FULFILLED]

Postby mushy » Thu Apr 12, 2012 11:25 am

Please could I have a clue boys and girls, as to whether the bed for Aled's Radio 1 schedule is on the Music4 website? You know when Moyles shouts ALED! And then plays that bed that starts with the guitar playing the Radio 1 motif. Does it have a special name?

Regards

Luke

The bed you are on about is part of the old ramble bed. I don't think that it is obtainable. I liked that bed myself. If they could get hold of the bed. That would be great. But I feel that it is a very long shot.

The ramble theme is on the Music4 summer 2005 sampler cd that someone posted a pic of in this thread:

I might be wrong, but isn't this the track they sample? If they don't still use it, I'm sure they did once upon a time! Or is my memory playing tricks on me?

No, they did used to use that, but a loooong time ago. It's fairly obvious just by listening to the show that the track they now use is not that, besides the fact that Music4 have it on one of their cds as their composition.

Ah, fair enough. I wanted to listen to the song they use now, but couldn't find a clip of the show which has it!

They only use a very short clip of it now. Any show in the archive which includes Ramble will have the longer version - I'm pretty sure they were doing it in 2006.

GET IN! @Wireman if you want it search 'ramble' on the Music4 website or it's on the January 2005 Job. It's got the Music4 watermarking but it still sounds epic.
Thank you all so very much.

E2A I'm intending to arrange a variation of this for the band, which you will be all welcome to once I get round to doing it.
