Well now I'm really not sure. I swear that's 3 weeks which seems like a long time to be off. But I have no other shows in between those dates.

There are Tedious Links listed for every day that week in the archive too...they were posted by me but copied from a list that was posted by MC, who did the Links at the time. Hmm.

I have the week from 24th to 28th. Everything in my 2006 directory should have been on the DVDs I sent to you. The normal files at the time were the Real Audio files from the website, but that particular week, I'd taped the higher quality mp2 streams from Freeview.

I've had a reply from Aled, and he doesn't know of any list of Chris Moyles Show dates, so we are going to have to try and work out the hard way which shows we haven't got.

Well look, I've still got more shows than anyone here, so why don't I just post an entire text file of the filenames of the shows we've got, and if anyone can add to that, or make corrections, then feel free.

Sounds good.

I've been looking through my numbers again and may have discovered a few duplicates that I didn't think were there.

I have only counted Breakfast shows rather than the "specials" that they did from time to time in the summer months in years gone by.

I've attached my excel spreadsheet of all my files which also lists all the bank holiday and holiday gaps as well.

OCD me? No. Not all all...;)

Wow that's an amazing list :D

I'm just trying to work out what it means in terms of what you haven't got. Because according to that list, it looks like you have every show between 2004 and 2008. And then 2009 has a week that you don't have (19th March to 25th March), but also a lot of your filenames are something like 02/06/2009
rather than 2009-04-28-tuesday, so I assume you don't have those ones either. But Jamie has 2009. So do you think you might have all of 2004 to 2008? Because I'm 99% sure that 2010 to 2012 is complete, because I don't remember missing a single show since late 2009.

Nope - that's just stupid excel formatting of the filenames. I have all 2009 except one week - Thursday 19th - Wednesday 25th March.

There's also just one missing from 2007 - Friday 16th November. I seem to think that someone else had that missing as well - which is suspicious. Maybe there wasn't a show that day?

I've got all 2010 - 2012 as well.

So you think (or know?) you have every show from 2004 until now (including the ones where Vernon Kay or Sara Cox stood in), and the only ones you are missing are Friday 16th November 2007 and Thursday 19th - Wednesday 25th March 2009? And if that's the case, would you be prepared to distribute some shows on a DVD for editing and uploading, so we can fill in the gaps?

I have Jamie's 2007 shows, and it doesn't include Friday 16th November 2007 either. And I think Jamie has all of 2009 too, so maybe he has Thursday 19th - Wednesday 25th March 2009.

It would be great if we only needed to try and get Friday 16th November 2007 (if it exists) and Thursday 19th - Wednesday 25th March 2009 from Aled.

Yeah, that's the one that I have missing. The official website says there was a show that day - http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio1/chrismoyles ... 1116.shtml , although if that's a spelling mistake on the website, then it would explain why no-one has it. Maybe this show was never put on the iPlayer - I can see that the next week and for the rest of the year I started recording from the Freeview stream, I'd have probably done that because I couldn't get the show from the iPlayer.

How did you obtain your archive, were you recording the webstreams like I was, or recording to physical media like Mike was?

EDIT: Oh wow, just had a look at your Excel sheet - what a fantastic piece of work that is. I'll have a look through it and see if I can spot any differences to what I have.

Hi.

I've concentrated on the ones with Chris and the team rather than the stand-ins. Although I do have the week in August 2011 with Sara Cox and the ones in March 2009 when Vernon deputised whilst Chris was climbing Kilimanjaro.

Just listening to the 15th November 2007 to see if there's anything mentioned about the 16th. Nothing mentioned and there's also a page on the BBC page http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b0085v2h

More than happy to share to complete the whole archive.

Just the usual recording of the webstream from iplayer. Using various techniques throughout the years.

You might notice from the spreadsheet that I've filled my collection with some of your edited versions when I haven't been able to d/l them myself (when I've been on holiday). Annoyingly I'm probably going to miss the upcoming very last week of shows as I'll be on holiday again. Luckily technology has advanced enough and I'll be able to VPN to home to download them all anyway.

P.S. Even more OCD tendencies - for all of the shows with guests I've even added a picture to the mp3 tag to show up in my itunes library. That's why the album name column includes the name of the guest!

OK, well it seems we're all missing Chris' One Big Rewind show from 25th April 2004, reviewed here - viewtopic.php?f=35&t=14131 . Although that isn't strictly a breakfast show and the review does say there's very few links on it, maybe it's nothing worth worrying about.

OK, I've got everything for 2004 that p3x595 has.

2005 - ah, I see why you're figures are different to mine for 2005, you have the Jo Whiley fill in at Glastonbury in with the original breakfast show - I have them as two separate shows. Other than that, I have everything you have.

I've been here - just generally lurking ;-)

One slight anomaly whilst I'm here.

Generally their holidays include 2 weeks in October. However in 2009 I've only got a one week break between the Friday show on the 16th and the next Monday show on the 26th. Anyone any ideas why it was only one week? Possibly something to do with the Uganda week in late November the same year?

2006 - p3x595, I'd like to know what your 2006-04-17-r1moyles_mon is. That was a bank holiday, Reggie yates was billed in the listings. I don't have it, and the first link from Tue 18th April is full of "We're back" mentions and jingles. Also the first instance of Joel Gold I think., which is great! The May 22 show was hosted by JK and Joel with the Moyles team.
