You are a disgrace and I'm looking forward to when someone you respect dies so I can rub your liberal face in it.

I'll stop because today isn't about Ben Cooper or Radio 1 management it's about the show and its listeners.

No way.
I'm sure there were discussions about show content, hence Chris dropping not-too-subtle references to "It's not all about me!" and "I love music!" in to the show. I bet they were direct quotes from Big Boss Ben.
I can't imagine any carpettings about overall show numbers. Only newspapers seem to care about RAJAR, and Chris' numbers have always been good. Whether it's 7, 8 or 9 million, that's still an excellent audience.
As has been stated many times before, the Beeb (or the Trust) only seem to care about the age of the audience, which is ridiculous -- not because they're ignoring the overall numbers, but it's ridiculous because who cares if older people listen as long as enough young people do.
That's what gets me. If 50% of teens listen to Chris, who cares if the older listeners do as well?
You clearly already have the youth audience. That should be enough, but for the BBC Trust, it isn't, they must also drive away the older listeners. IDIOTS!
