Hello!

I'm David from the beautiful, sunny Scotland... Long time lurker, first time poster (probably left it a bit late, but hey ho)

I started listening to the Chris Moyles podcast in 2010 and started listening to the live show last summer. My biggest regret is not listening to the show earlier, but at least there is the amazing archive on this site so I can listen to shows I've never heard!

Also I'm 15 and hate all the music Radio 1 plays. So after Chris is off, I'm off.

...like a fat lass in a cake shop

Don't do it, you know you'd lose. You always do. We win. Again.

Hello all.

I'm Cath and apparently far too old to be listening to the radio 1 breakfast show (lets be kind and say I'm in my mid 40s)

I started listening to Chris after I read his autobiography back in 2007 (I think). I thought he seemed like a really nice guy and unlike the portrait painted by the media so decided to give his show a listen and LOVED it. A wonderful relief from Capital. I wish I'd discovered the show much sooner.

I heard about Chris quitting when I was on holiday catching up on twitter. It took the edge right off my holiday I can tell you. I run in the mornings and the first link is what gets me out of bed and onto the streets - I had no idea how I was going to manage to do that after the show ends and the dark and cold mornings start to set in. Nick, Radio 2 and Capital won't do it (and I'm bang up to date with the podcasts)

So, much thanks to this website and for the the advice from the Flying Badger, I hope to continue to be a happy listener for ages to come as I work my way through your archives.

No. Oh no no no no. No. Never - and I mean NEVER - take any advice offered to you by The Flying Badger. Never. Really really not. Bad move. Disastrous.

Yuds is right as always.

At some point you will post something. I will take umbrage with said post. Expletives and profanities will follow.
I'll enjoy the initial release then the guilt will set in...Oh wait. No sorry. That's sex with the missus.

Hi, I'm Chris.

Been listening for about 5 years, lurking on this forum for a few years. Just realised that I made an account ages ago, but I hadn't activated it.

Hi I am Sophie. I am just in Radio 1's target demographic, but the other way to most of you! I turned 15 last month.
Been lurking on the forums and the website for a few years on and off. When bored, I sometimes go on your YouTube channel and watch clips from the livestream. In fact I have been doing that before I knew the website existed!
Thought I should finally sign up seeing as the website looks awesome.

Welcome. I think it is Chris (Harris) that does the YouTube channel so he sorta deserves the credit for that.

Even though anyone with a noggin could work out it'll be July '13. Pervy and stupid!

I've actually met Chris n shook his hand. This fact is still causing slight issues in my trouser dept....

I always liked it when Eilidh McGeachie played with my thermometer. She never let me place it under her tongue to check her temperature mind.

Ryan should be asking for pictures tbh. If Nicola can do it...
