 | The Wannadies You & Me Song - The You & Me Song was a hit in 1996, the same year that Oasis played two massive dates at Knebworth - Knebworth is also a venue that is now synomonous with gigs by Queen and Robbie Williams - Robbie Williams shares the same surname as Deniece Williams, who had a big hit with “Let’s Hear It For The Boy”, which was taken from the soundtrack to the movie “Footloose” - “Footloose”, the title track from the movie, was recorded by Kenny Loggins - Kenny Loggins shares the same christian name as Kenny Rogers, who recorded “Islands In The Stream” with Dolly Parton - Dolly Parton shares the same first name as Dolly the sheep, and interestingly Dolly the sheep was actually named after Dolly Parton, as a result of the fact that it was apparently cloned from a mammary cell - A cell of a different type is what the Americans call their mobile phone - A mobile phone is a great way of keeping in touch with people everyday - “People Everyday” was a hit for Arrested Development, who also scored a follow-up chart smash with Tennessee - Tennessee is a state in the USA - and A is the first letter of the alphabet, a principle vowel, and also the first letter of words such as “Antelope”, “Arachnophobia” and of course “Air” - Which links us to Air and Kelly Watch The Stars

- Spookily enough, just like yesterdays tune, this track spent 3 weeks on the chart, peaking at number 18. Wow.
- MC FACT ATTACK: - I think this song is awful and one of the worst choices Dave has ever made. Granted more of an opinion than a fact but still.
- ALBUM DETAILS: - Taken from the 1998 top 6 album “Moon Safari”, which also featured the more well known single “Sexy Boy”. Which is marginally better. Marginally.

- MC FACT ATTACK: - This track was re released in January 2001, featuring the vocal talents of Juliet Roberts (no not her off of Pretty Woman) - although the remixed version (which I preferred) only got to number 11 in the chart fact fans.
- ALBUM DETAILS: - The original is available on disc 2 of NOW 40, the first NOW compilation I ever bought... at the grand old age of 11. There is some god awful stuff on there (Spice Girls, Aqua, Steps, Billie etc), but the good stuff is very very good (e.g The Verve, Massive Attack, Natalie Imbruglia, Fatboy Slim)...

- ALBUM DETAILS: - Available on REM’s fourth studio album, and their breakthrough release, “Out Of Time” - a number one album when released back in March 1991. Other singles featured on the album included Radio Song, Near Wild Heaven and Shiny Happy People.

- MC FACT ATTACK: - The last five minutes of this track actually feature no vocals at all.
- ALBUM DETAILS: - Taken from arguably the greatest album of all time (certainly in my top five), “The Stone Roses” - the bands’ phenomenal debut, released in May 1989 and an album that disgracefully peaked at just number 19 in the UK Album Chart. Last year voted as the greatest British album of all time by The Observer Magazine.

 | Boyz II Men End Of The Road - The end of the road for us last week on our Comic Relief Red Nose Rally was Lands End in Cornwall, which was absolutely beautiful - “Beautiful” is the title of a record by Athlete - “Athlete” is a word which describes Sally Gunnell and Daley Thompson - Daley Thompson shares the same surname as Emma Thompson, who starred in the film Love Actually - Love Actually also starred Hugh Grant and Martine McCutcheon - Martine McCutcheon shot to fame playing Tiffany in EastEnders - EastEnders is set in Albert Square - A square is a geometric shape, as are a hexagon and a triangle - A triangle is a shape you’d associate with dairylea cheese - “Cheese!” is what you get people to say when taking their picture - Picture development is traditionally done in the dark - “Dark” rhymes with “bark”, which is a noise you’d associate with a dog - “Dog” is a word that precedes house, biscuits, bowl and blanket - The plural of blanket is “blankets”, which are what you might find on a bed - Bed is where you sleep - and if somebody was asleep in the bed, and you needed to get in the room for something, but you didn’t want to wake them up or anything, you’d have to “creep” - Which links us to Radiohead and Creep
- FLAWS: - Er not really, Chris said there was a few “minor things” - but he didn’t read them out on the air for some reason.
- What was more interesting was the Chris & Dave discussion on how many good records Radiohead have made. I am very much from their school of thought, as in I think you can count them on one hand, but I do think there is more than just the two Dave said. High And Dry, Creep, Just, Fake Plastic Trees and No Surprises are all good tunes - but I do agree that The Pyramid Song is a dreadful record. Cue the text abuse and the classic webcam shot below.

Seen as though the reviewers are slacking again and ain’t really mentioned it, I’d just like to wish a huuuge congratulations to everyone on the team for this weeks Red Nose Rally. Not necessarily the best radio, but effective - a grand total of £558,160 raised!
